Our 1978 Conrail Caboose arrived on 2/24/23
Restoration work on the caboose was completed in the Summer of 2023.
Everything from sparkling new paint, hand painted logo and lettering to electrical updates are complete!
It’s a beauty! Come visit and see for yourself!

A Caboose is headed
to Fairport
A 1978 N21 Conrail caboose (NYC 21290) has been secured with the generous support of CSX . The construction of the track which the caboose will rest upon in the NW corner of the Fairport Junction Parking Lot has been installed and is complete. The caboose is expected to be delivered on or about February 9, 2023. A professional painter will refurbish the inside and outside of the car sometime in the middle of March. Watch for updates of the progress on this exciting addition next to the Train Viewing Platform in the Junction!
